Mid-ruby shade. Broad and complex on the nose with aromas of red cherries and candied fruit and a suggestion of toasted barley. Very good structure and concentration of ripe fruit, some tannins still to integrate, but racy palate development. Finish of dried leaves and bitter almonds.
