AMARONE DELLA VALPOLICELLA DOC CLASSICO “SEREGO ALIGHIERI VAIO ARMARON” 2001

Cherry-ruby of a good thickness and intensity, with a hint of violet-garnet; brilliant balsamic spice on the nose, with vivid floral sensations, fruity highlights of black cherry and fruits of the forest preserves; creamy and soft on the palate, very fruity (black cherries, plums, blackberries), with densely weaved tannins giving flavour, fresh acidic contrast, concluding with cassis, juniper and liquorice.

AMARONE DELLA VALPOLICELLA DOC CLASSICO “LA COETA” 2003

Ruby-purple of particular thickness and intensity, giving off impenetrable black-aubergine highlights; tending towards boisé notes on the nose, with vivid hints of vanilla, toasted oak and liquorice; very concentrated on the palate, almost sticky, with a thick tannin weave, the mature black fruit and chocolate notes of which preclude a finale of spices and blackberries.
