The citrus notes are particularly aromatic in the nose, especially of mandarin, which appears more clearly as the wine opens. In the mouth too this citrus chiaroscuro is evident, and the wine’s almost electric acidity blends admirably with its saline notes.
Well constructed and pure, this wine has a nose that hints of fruit (pear Williams) and that frames an elegant aromatic profile and prepares us for the dynamic palate to come. The finale too is reactive, well delineated in its character and persistent in its flavour.
