Gigi Bozzoni, borned and resident in Bergamo, after several professional experiences in theatre and interior design, met Luigi Veronelli in 1986. His passion for wines took him to participate to many wine and food meetings, until 1988, when he arrived to the Seminario Permanente Luigi Veronelli. Since the next year, he has run it for 25 years, until his retirement at the end of 2013.
Since then, he has run the magazine “Il Consenso”, he has been leader for a lot of wine and food conventions, and he has created sensory analysis courses for lovers and professional people. In the nineties, he managed the editorial staff of “Cataloghi Veronelli of Vini D.o.c. and D.o.c.g.” and of “Vini da Favola”; he is even author of the book “ Professione Sommelier”, published by Casa Editrice Le Moonier in Florence, the first wine textbook for Italian Hospitality and Catering Schools. In the two-thousands, he created the video-book “Le degustazioni delle ore 17“ and the book reviews “Un vino al giorno”. For the national association Le Città del Vino, he managed several editions of “Le Selezioni di Eccellenza dei vini italiani”. Since 1997, he has been managing the Golden Guide “I Vini di Veronelli”.
