Of dense structure, this wine’s evolution can be seen in the highlights. The nose is that of an Amarone of olden days, with intriguing notes of chinotto, licorice, and wild herbs. The entry of the palate is of good volume, with a gradual progression of flavour to the balanced finale.
elegance and measure are the prerogatives of a sense of smell modulated on delicate, more floral than fruity scents; the mouth attack shows off a greater compactness and power, the tannic grip is incisive and the smoky spicy of the oak does not renounce to transmit signals of reassuring sweetness.
natural colour, without any forced concentration; the texture of the perfumes is floral, the taste is fresh and sapid: the wise management of the drying guarantees the centrality of the fruit (black cherry) and a tonic and refreshing finish.
Alc. 15%
Concentrated ruby colour. A complex nose with tones of cherry liqueur chocolates, plum jam, bergamot, dried fruit, cinnamon, tobacco and nuances of juniper. Soft, warm taste with spicy notes of pepper followed by jam. Rounded tannins and a smoky finish.
The first sensation, a jammy fruit and an intense spicing notes, is able to keep freshness and integrity thanks to the balsamic touch of eucalyptus and licorice, the rich acidity and a very dynamic, dense but delicate tannic texture, blended perfectly in a frame of softness and roundness.
With its brightly intense colour, this wine seems not to be showing its age. In the palate, too, it’s driven by a vitality that easily marries the sweet ripeness of the fruit to a more dynamic, nervous aspect and leads to the long, refreshing finale.
Intense ruby, but not excessively so: the colour communicates a natural quality that is reinforced by the bouquet of herbs and red berries. In the mouth, too, the wine is juicy and flows well: a natural wine in opposition to the constructions of modern oenology, and one that already offers lovely drinkability.
